‘’Kenya has no room for political deceipt and big brother syndrom’’Mudavadi tells Odm as he hails outsted senator Malala.

Amani National congress party leader and 2022 presidential hopeful Hon Musalia Mudavadi has lashed out at ODM over their move to oust Kakamega senator Cleophas Malala as the coalition’s deputy  minority senate whip.

The Kakamega senator was ousted yesterday in what has been revealed as his lack of respect to the Odm party and its leadership. However, political commentators have likened the ouster to Malala’s stance on Mulembe politics where Mudavadi and Wetangula are spearheading a new dawn in the former western province which aims at having the region rally behind one candidate for president with Mudavadi being tauted as the front runner and region’s choice for the top job.

In a mriad of tweets on his timeling, Mr Mudavadi has strongly come out in defence of the embattled senator thus providing the much needed shield.

The decision by ODM to oust Kakamega Senator Cleophas Wakhungu Malala as the Senate Deputy Minority Leader is regrettable. This is an affront on democracy and all its tenets. 1/3

While all manner of excuses will be floated, it is clear to all of us that Malala was removed because of his role in the recent Matungu by-election where the ANC candidate, he campaigned for, won with a landslide. I am proud of my Senator and I stand with him totally. 2/3

He is a party stalwart whose freedom of speech and association we shall defend to the hilt. Kenya no longer has room for political deception, Big-Brotherhood syndrome and intolerance. 3/3

The Kakamega senator has come out to say that he is not cowed by the ouster and instead he shall remain strong and focus on his future prospects.

” I want to tell Orengo that Ruto was sacked as a minister by Raila and now he is the deputy president. Now it is Malala and one of these fine days, i will be his president” Malala said.
