Rashid Echesa: Boni Khalwale demanded Ksh. 200, 000 from widow of the Matungu Mp- to pay the lawyer.
The former Cs was the only speaker who looked angry for reasons only known to him. From being a loose tongue while eulogizing the Mp, the former CS took issue with former Kakamega Senator Boni Kwalwale saying, Kwalwale demanded Ksh. 200,000 from the widow of the late so as to pay the lawyer to get the case out of court.
Speaking with a bitter tone while pointing fingers to the former senator, he said, ” Khalwale yale yote umefanyia sisi wa-wanga, tumekusamehe” He also said, the Luhya parliamentary MPs failed in their mandate as they couldn’t raise money to hire a chopper to airlift him to Nairobi.
As he blamed all and everyone, he failed to blame himself as a leader. If he believes that the late was not supposed to be transported by the road, how come he didn’t hire the chopper himself. Rashid Echesa is a man who is able, instead of blaming other people, he could have hired the chopper.
He later fumbled by asking former Prime Minister Raila Odinga to pave way for William Ruto’s presidency. He asked the former Prime Minister to let Governor Oparanya to work with the deputy president as his running met in 2022. He said ” When William Ruto forms the government, all-important contracts (Maziwa) will be given to him.
As he drummed support for the deputy president, other leaders looked at him just wondering what could be wrong with the former Cs. His allegiance to the deputy president seems not to be waning off. Boni Kwalwale had no opportunity to respond to allegations made by the former cs, by the time of writing this report, he ad not picked our calls.
