Residents of Kibagare : Thank you Tessie Musalia!

Saturday 4th April 2020, residents of Kibagare slums will always remember it as a great day during the covid-19 pandemic. Every family in this county is struggling to put food on their tables and especially families residing in informal settlements.

Tessie Musalia of Mudavadi Memorial Foundation Trust Fund, visited them and placed a great smile on their faces with a load of a sorted food stuffs. Many who benefitted from this heartfelt gesture are majorly single mothers and widows whose daily income has been crushed due to suspension of low income economic activities in the city.

These women, some carrying their little ones on their arms couldn’t hide their joy as they received food from Mama Tessie Musalia who personally distributed to them one by one. The residents who were extremely happy thanked Mama Tessie Musalia for her generous heart. The event took place at Kibagare chief camp in the presence of area chief, Madam Florence Mbikwa.

The area chief was happy to oversee such a noble exercise. She thanked Mama Tessie Musalia and the entire Mudavadi Memorial Foundation Trust Fund and all well wishers who made the exercise a success. She said, ” I am looking forward to see more people take up the example as shown by Mama Tessie and help the needy in our community, this is the time to share “

Mama Tessie Musalia on her part said, ” As an organisation we will always be there to help the less fortunate in our society, Covid-19 is a pandemic that needs us to come together and help the vulnerable” She went on to thank well wishers who she said have always stood with the organisation in order to enable her reach millions of Kenyans in our society. She asked Kenyans to observe directives from the ministry of health, wash your hands, wear masks and social distance in order to escape Covid -19.
