It is no secret that 2022 election bells have started ringing and have rung loudly.
One man is constantly on the lips and minds of all Kenyans. This man is none other than the deputy president Dr William Samoei Ruto.

Being the second in command places him at a vantage position to succeed the president.
However Dr Ruto needs to work with tried and tested dare devil politicians. One such individual is none other than the Hon Bishop Dr Margaret Wanjiru.

Ruto will get a foothold in Nairobi by tapping into Dr Wanjiru’s wealth of experience and networks.

Just like the self aclaimed Hustler, Dr Wanjiru has worked her way up from a junior copy clerk, a street evangelist and now a renowned Tele-evangelist of international repute, business woman par excellence, politician and above all, a mother to many.

Bishop Wanjiru is a strong believer in doing good for the glory of the Lord.

Bishop Wanjiru’s rise from the pulpit to the national assemby representing Starehe constituency by felling Hon Maina Kamanda was not a mean fete.

Taking on and ultimately beating a veteran politician like Maina Kamanda requires courage, determination, political astituteness and above all great faith in God things that Bishop Margaret has.

Both Ruto and Bishop Wanjiru share a lot in common central of which is unshakable faith in God and a desire to see the youths transformed.

We have seen Dr Ruto empower makanga’ car wash guys, chicken farmers etc.

On her part, the Bishop has not only paid fees for the many Nairobi kids, she has also gone a notch further and started small scale businesses to help people from across the many faiths eke a living.

Under the banner of #Mama na kazi, the Jesus Is Alive Ministries founder has cut a niche for herself that she cannot walk into any Nairobi slum unnoticed.

When it was announced that the Bishop had tested positive and rushed to the Aga Khan hospital, many Kenyans took to social media and poured their love and prayers to the woman of God.

Infact in one of her testimonies, she narrates how a Doctor she once paid school fees for once took care of her hospital bill despite her not remembering when she helped sort his fees issues. This further underscores the Bishop’s ability to help without keeping records because she insists that all glory belong to God not to her

Winning a seat in the metropolitant Starehe constituency and on an Odm party that is perceived as a luo outfit goes a long way to underscore the faith Nairobians have in Bishop Wanjiru.

An urban dweller, single parent of three biological and several other sons and daughters, business woman, politician and preacher of the word of God, Dr Wanjiru has managed to debunk the myth that African pentecostalism and politics cannot mix.

For Dr Ruto, it will add him more value if he linked up with the Bishop whom he closely worked with in the 2010 No team.

Dr Wanjiru is one politician who never shies away from speaking her mind. She stood firm as a church leader and Voted No despite threats and intimidations from Odm her then sponsoring party.

With Dr Ruto anchoring her operations on a strong word of God background, Bishop Dr Wanjiru could just Provide the midas touch that the Dp so badly need to ascend to the top seat
