No one knew Raila, the leader of ODM & Edwin Sifuna Secretary General of ODM could not read from the same page. Who knew? Times have changed in ODM, mixed statements and back peddling on important national issues.
What happened to ODM? What is happening in
ODM. Is ODM found between a hard rock and soft soil? Lately the party has been on flip flop autopilot. It’s has not demonstrated that it’s either opposition or government. Here are examples.
- To win Kibra by election they enlisted government support.
- To push for BBI they used government machinery.
- In parliament it’s not clear where it sits.
- Revenue Allocation bill, the party lacks a stand, the ODM leader has given mixed signals
- On Kemsa, the ODM leader and his secretary General are speaking from both ends of their mouth.
- On Arrest of Senators, friends in government were shocked when the ODM leader condemned the executive.
These are some of the examples. The future looks bleak for ODM, its supporters are not sure where the party stands now. Party positions are being contradicted.
