Kakamega residents are wondering, what would happen if Oparanya also became a victim of Covid -19 will he be buried there
Wycliffe Oparanya predicts there will be mass deaths in Kakamega county by September and for this reasons he has identified two pieces of land where mass burial will take place.
He said that, by September, the Covid-19 death numbers will have increased in the county and for his own wisdom, he wants the dead not to be buried in their ancestral homes.
He spoke when he officiated the ceremony of swearing in new chief officers, James Ochami Finance, Dominic Chungani public service board and administration & Catherine Gathoni Otenyo public service board.
This concept has shocked residents of Kakamega as they have questioned the governor’s unconsultative move. Many are wondering, what would happen if he also became a victim of Covid -19 will be be buried there?
