IT’S SCRAMBLE FOR MILK AS SIFUNA, OSOTSI AND MALALA EMERGES DEMANDING THEIR SHARE.
The much hyped Mulembe Youth movement was hot air after all. The event that took place in Kakamega over the weekend has left many talking after a statement by the Odm sg Mr Edwin Sifuna was posted on social media. The statement has declared the movement as a conglomeration of hungry politicians salivating for goodies at the guise of promoting youths agenda.
To start it off, Mr Godfrey Atieno Osotsi is not even a youth both in deeds and age. It is very un African and a bad habit for a Luhya son to seek to inherit his father’s walking stick before the old man goes to the grave.
Mr Atieno is a very bad example of how a Luhya youth should behave. Malala and Sifuna are no better, other than hurling insults to the Hon. Mudavadi and Sen Wetangula, the two guys have nothing to write home for when it comes to gauging their usefulness on matters Mulembe.
It is therefore laughable when you see them parade themselves up as Luhya saviors, nothing for us, in our name, without us. If those who ought to speak for all of us speak only for themselves, we the Youth of Mulembe will speak for ourselves! #MulembeYouthMovement; the ODM Sg said this while in Kakamega.
Whether it was by design or just utter accident, the sentiments by the ODM Secretary general, points to three hungry young men whose sole agenda on matters Luhya is to drink the milk. At this point in time, the Luhya nation is working hard under the stewardship of Hon. Mudavadi and Hon Wetangula to form the next government but the three musketeers are busy politicking on how to get milk.
This milk narrative as executed by one Mr Sifuna has opened many peoples eyes on how selfish our people can be. It is therefore up to the gallant sons and daughters of Mulembe nation to treat the Mulembe Youth Movement with the contempt it deserves.
