Former Cs Echesa Rashid- to battle Cleophas Malala on Senatorship for Kakamega 2022.
The former sports cabinet Cs Rashid Echesa has today held a series of meetings in Kakamega County heralding his interest in running for Kakamega Senator 2022. Sources close to the former Sports cabinet minister says that he has finally made up his mind on the future of his politics. Mr. Rashid while touring Kakamega County said that,
” I thank Allah for making it possible for such a welcoming convocation with my people after cessation of our normal interactions. Despite the challenges experienced, I am back stronger and better” The flamboyant senator is preparing himself for an epic battle with the sitting Senator, a battle that many pundits believe will be a titans games- the best candidate will win.
The two who were once close buddies and have now turned political foes, will be renewing their battle for Kakamega county Senator-ship come 2022. But sources close to Kakamega Senator says, the Senator believes Rashid Echesa cant beat him in a fair contest, and on his part he is prepared to defend the seat on ANC party. The senator is booming with confidence and is sure to win it on ANC ticket.
The senator believes he will deliver the seat on ANC party without a fight. The senator is also in the process of launching Senator Malala Super Cup in the coming months. Already teams are registering and it will be impossible to miss this cup unless you don’t understand Kakamega politics.
