Former Gor Captain Harun Shakava and Nkana Fc Midfielder Duncan Otieno “Dunco” Joining Afc Leopards.

The thirteen times KPL champions Afc leopards to sign Duncan Otieno and Harun Shakava , all currently playing for Zambian giants Nkana FC.

Accordong to sources within Ingwe management, the deal to sign the duo is as good as done.

Further reports have revealed that that the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) side is looking for a left-back to replace Isaac Kipyegon who is reported to be leaving the 13-time league champions.

Kipyegon joined the den from Kericho and his stay at Ingwe has been uneventful.

Reports further indicate that midfielders Musa Saad and Eugene Mukangula might also be on their way out.

Whereas Musa Saad is pursuing a contract abroad, Mukangula, 24, might be released at the end of the season to join a club of his choice on a free transfer.

Afc leopards Coach Anthony Kimani, who is working as a care taker manager will see the team through the season.
Kimani took over from Rwandan Casa Mbungo who left in December after terminating his contract due to non payment of his salaries after sportpesa terminated its sponsorship.

It is believed that the advent of the sponsorship deal will lure many big names to the den.

On Thursday, Leopards and their arch rivals Gor Mahia entered a deal with gaming company Bet High Kenya Limited under their leading brand, BetSafe. Ingwe will get Sh40 million and Gor Sh55 million

Duncan Otieno and Harun Shakava in a past event.

Late last year, Shakava took to his fb page and wrote.
” Playing for Afc leopards will be a dream come true. I have always been an Ingwe fan”.

It is this revelation that made Ingwe to approach the x Gor mMahia Captain.
Duncan “Dunco” Otieno will be returning home after having featured for Afc right from school.

The Chavakali boys alumni captained Afc leopards before flying to Zambia in a move the club blessed.
