War on FGM receives a boost as Latim a traditional circumcisor gives up the trade.

Benjamin Kipserem Latim a former traditional female circumisor(Chelele) has officially given up his traditional trade and handed over his artefacts and paraphernalia to The County Goverment of Uasin Gishu Department of Culture and social services. For lack of clients, Latim had become a traditional brewer and last month he was arrested and quarantined at Kaplelach where he was couselled, got baptised and he became a christian.

Many have praised him for the bold move. The government has declared total war on Fgm.
