Hadija Juma a Kakamega Woman rep aspirant in 2022 tells DCI to Stop selective application of the law & stop arbitrary arrests of Dp Ruto’s allied Leaders
Hon Hadija Juma a Kakamega county politician angling for woman rep position in 2022 has come out guns blazing on the Dci for what she termed as arbitrary arrests and harrassment of politicians perceived to be leaning towards DP Ruto.
Hon Hadija popularly known as Mama Mwepesi due to her fleet footedness in attending to local needs was speaking in Kakamega as she met radio salaams club a fans group known for their love for salaams over radio.
The fans group had invited her so that they can be plugged in her several develooment programmes in the county.
Currently Hon Hadija is running a chicken rearing programme that has become popular accross Kakamega county.
The chicken rearing programme is premised on hustler movement’s chicken selling programme that is now synonymous with Deputy president Ruto.
“We have invited you here as our leader since we know you are running for a county seat as woman Mp for our county here in Kakamega. We therefore as members of Radio salaams clubs in Kakamega wish to walk with you in your journey and also request you plug us in your many development projects around the county. Sisi tumeona unatosha” One member said.
While accepting the invitation to work with them, Madam Hadija thanked them for believing in her and promised to rop them in her chicken rearing programme immidiately.
“Thank you my brothers and sisters for hosting me today. We all know that ‘salaams ni nusu ya kuonana lakini pia tuongeze maendeleo pia” Hadija said.
The woman rep aspirant has played a pivotal role in Kakamega county in helping aid the flood victims who are suffering as a result of the havoc visited upon them.
“We have been helping our people who are affected by floods and effects of Covid 19. We thank our deputy president for extending some help to our people. However we must point out and call on the police and the DCI to stop their arbitrary arrests and intimidations especially on perceived Ruto allies.
We have all seen Dr Atwoli hold huge gatherings yet no arrests are done. We see Hon Oparanya and Cs Wamalwa hold political rallies disguised as luhya unity meetings in utter disregard to laid down covid 19 protocals but no arrests are made.
It is therefore sickening to see policemen rough up Hon Khalwale on trumped up charges simply because he (Dr Khalwale) identifies with the hustler nation. Do we have two sets of laws one for hustlers and the other for Atwoli’s and Oparanya’s of this world?” quiped Hon Hadija.
“We shall keep serving our people without fear and we shall closely work with Dr Ruto, in helping shape the social economic standing of our people” she added.
Hadija Juma aka Mama Mwepesi has intensified her engagement efforts with people of Kakamega even as 2022 approaches. It is expected that she will give the current office holder Hon Elsie Muhanda a run for her money
