NASA Director Khalid Njiraini to sue Nation media over Mudavadi & Wetangula false publication.

Nasa Regional Director for Western Kenya Mr Khalid Njiraini to sue Nation Newspaper for writing misleading stories on Mudavadi.

Mr Khalid in a letter copied to Lsk president Mr Nelson Havi, Njiraini said he was uncomfortable with Nation’s reports appearing in saturday’s nation publication.

I wish to draw your attention to the Saturday nation dated June 13, 2020 with a sub-heading on the front page as a related topic titled “Ruto bags Mudavadi, Wetangula” and on page 4 of the same newspaper you have alleged that the two NASA partners have announced plans to join hands with the Deputy President and that a team has been put together to formulate an agreement on who will be his running mate.

Nation Newspaper has been considered to be a leading mainstream media house that does not run its stories on rumors and street gossip hence my letter to demand an apology to my two NASA leaders with immediate effect because we all know that this story is nothing but propaganda unless of course the intention of your newspaper was to malign the reputation of Hon. Mudavadi and Hon. Wetangula, portray them in bad political light, cast suspicion on their political direction and finally reduce their political worth through this cheap headline story that is nothing but character assassination.

As the NASA Regional Coordinator in charge of Western Kenya I shall not accept such political games that can only be expected from gutter press. This apology that I demand for should be on the front page of your newspaper as well. Failure to apologize, I shall have no choice but to seek legal redress for this propaganda and injustice.
