Kijana Wamalwa defeated Raila to control Ford Kenya, will Wetangula also do it.

What’s happening in Ford Kenya is nothing new, it’s something that Raila once did and failed terribly about it. Records indicate that, in 1995/1996, the battle for control for Ford Kenya with Michael Kijana Wamalwa vs Raila Odinga, ended in favor of Kijana Wamalwa forcing Raila Odinga to run away to join the defunct NDP which didn’t last as he dissolved it to Join Kanu.

Psychologist say, hard habits die hard. It seems Raila still has fond memories of his father’s party, he failed to control it under Kijana Wamalwa, failed to control it under Wetangula and now he believes he can do it through, Simiyu Eseli, Wafula Wamunyinyi and Eugene Wamalwa.

We all remember, When Kijana Wamalwa died, the battle for Ford Kenya raged on for a while, pitting, Eugene Wamalwa, Mukhisa Kitui and Moses Masika Wetangula. Wetangula won the battle forcing, Eugene Wamalwa and Lusaka to form a splinter party they called new Ford Kenya which Wamalwa and Lusaka sold to JOIN jubilee.

That’s is just background information, what we know so far. The new struggle is about the new working relationships of ANC and FORD KENYA. This relationship has everything to do with 2022. Did you ever imagine Musalia and Wetangula will work together politically? Their partnership is the big headache for Raila who thinks that without splitting them, his goose for 2022 is cooked.

Raila Amolo Odinga can’t make it as a president without the backing of Western block. If this block is not behind him, it will be impossible for him to clinch the coveted prize. He has now found new allies in Eseli Simiyu, Wafula Wamunyinyi and Eugene Wamalwa. This comes in the wake of a meeting held with the ODM leader.

The indications are clear, Moses Wetangula is not playing ball, ANC is not playing ball, while Kalanzo has accepted to play ball, the Odinga led party is working to break the new ties between ANC and Ford to achieve its goals as it explores ways to work with jubilee and subsequently stage a stab at the presidency come 2022.
