AFC Leopards fans pour in prayers for Bishop Margaret Wanjiru as she battles covid 19!


Soccer lovers allied to Afc leopards club the oldest and most supported club in Kenya have taken to their knees in prayers seeking quick recovery for Bishop Margaret Wanjiru whom they consider as both their spiritual leader, mother and fan number one from the pulpit.

News of Bishop Wanjiru’s hospitalization broke their hearts considering that when Afc leopards was posting poor results, Afc leopards fans turned to her Jesus Is Alive ministries church for prayers before every match that was taking place on Sunday in Nairobi. JIAM became a home for Ingwe diehards giving birth to a group of Ingwe prayer worriors dubbed Maombi branch. Ingwe eventually started posting positive results.

” God help Bishop Margaret wanjiru,save her from covid-19, as an Ingwe fan I recall her allowing us in her church and praying for our club when we could not win a match and our fortunes changed. I hardly forget anybody who helped Ingwe neither do I forget anybody who hurt Ingwe. I know most current fans can’t even know this leave alone recall. #getwellbishopwanjiru

Mr Luyuku a Mombasa based fan wrote on fb.

“I remember Sunday mornings many ingwe Rio tindo at JIAM then later at nyayo . Quick recovery mama” Victor Isadia wrote.

Bishop Margaret is actually an active Ingwe fan. I attest to having attended her sermons on two or three occasions where she prayed and showed a good heart for the team..
