Naftali Ambetsa: If Kenyan soccer is to move to the next level, Musonye is the man.

Nickolas Musonye is causing football fever and excitement just days after announcing interest tp run for FKF President seat. Opinion is coming in from notable soccer fans, and one of these fans is Naftali Ambestsa an AFC Leopard fan who is drwaing comprarisons between Nick Mwenndwa and Nickolas Musonhe. He begins by saying that

~ I dont know if its fair to vet Nick against a high school sports master. CECAFA had 3 East African teams in the last AFCON vetting can start there. East African clubs have continued to give good showings in the continental competitions.

~Nick Musonye has single handedly mobilized resources and at times even bank rolled Cecafa tournaments for over a decade. He has left a legacy. If Kenyan soccer is to move to the next level, Musonye is the man.

~ CECAFA countries had Wanyama and Samata playing in the EPL. CECAFA tournaments have never been held without broadcast rights being sold .

~ Mobilizing resources that include accommodation, air transportation and a sponsor for CECAFA is equal to FKFs budget for the whole year.

~ Musonye has no conflict of interest in the Kenyan football matters. He is a respected team player. He had no wrangles for the entire time he was at the helm of CECAFA.

~ I have never heard of financial misappropriation allegations on Musonye. I could go on and on. Even as a layman I know Musonye is another name for East African football. He prepared a good transition which is very important.

~ Lastly the FKF needs a pair of new hands that can work with government. At the moment the standoff over the 235 million AFCON money is a big issue.

~ Handling of Amrouche issue is also a scandle and FKF needs to cough over 50M to pay. This are very serious and heavy matters that a high school sports teacher might need time to understand.
