Oparanya’s planned mass grave idea backfires as residents force him to backtrack.

In his response he said “‘ I am concerned by fake news going round that I have bought land for mass burials for people who may succumb to Covid-19. I have no such plans and here is my clarification on the matter “

But that is gospel according to governor Wycliffe Oparanya. The truth of the matter is that the Luhya community has told him off, they have asked, is Oparanya a prophet of death?

The community believes that Governor Oparanya is misusing public resources, placing his effort and energy in the wrong place. The priorities of the people of Kakamega is not mass grave yard but the desire for the county government to mitigate and cautioning the residents against the marauding covid-19.

So his plan to buy land and create a public cemetery has flopped and many have told him to look at the priorities of people of Kakamega.
