What many celebrated as Raila’s master piece will return to haunt him as a poisoned chalice. Raila traded the over 5Mvotes bestowed to him by Kenyans for a morsel and a loaf. Raila does not care whether a common soul in Kibra has eaten or not. His last publicity stunt of purporting to distribute food in Kibra ended in a tragedy where it is alleged a stampede led to loss of lives.
It’s time for self reflection. What are Raila’s achievements three years of Handshake? Replacing Mudavadi & Kalonzo with Atwoli & Murathee?Does Atwoli command any voting block ?
Good students of history will remember how the good people of Khwisero once rejected Atwoli on the ballot. Of what value does Atwoli add to Raila then?
Forgive me for thinking that the only reason Uhuru need Atwoli is for comic relief. Anyway who wouldnt want to cool down with two old men around him cracking old school jokes? Perfect that is exactly what President Uhuru is enjoying.
Raila lost his independence by making Uhuru Kenyatta his god? Today, Raila’s career is loosely hanging in the hands of Uhuru Kenyatta even when Kenyatta ( himself) has nothing valuable to add to his matrix!
Worse he(Kenyatta) handed over all his henchmen & bedroom to Ruto- That is the man Raila is depending on?
Nobody captures this true picture than Dr Miguna Miguna. Many people will say Miguna is mad but just for a moment ignore his “madness” and interrogate his wisdom.
Raila Odinga is completely done politically. Those flogging such an old horse towards 2022 should stay easy and contend with the fact that it atleast neighs.
Kenyans will have the misfortune of choosing between Kalonzo Mudavadi or Ruto for the top seat.
The least we can do is pray for baba as he munches his golden handshake
