Murunga’s dirty tricks for survival in 2022 using Khalaba ward mca Hon Osanga exposed
The more things change the more they remain the same. Matungu constituency is grappling with floods, and the war on corona virus but two leaders have hatched a scheme to hold onto power come 2022.
According to sources prior to the under hand dealings between area Mp Hon Justus Murunga and Khalaba ward Mca Hon Bonface Osanga, a deal worthy millions and other favors was reached to have Osanga pretend to run as Mp Matungu to help easen pressure on Murunga’s poor track record.
Of late Murunga has been delegating some of his duties to Mr Osanga. Case in point is last year when Hon Murunga handed sports kits to Osanga to deliver to Emanani secondary school. Emanani is in Mayoni ward which clearly points to the political deal between Murunga and Osanga.
There are further allegations that Hon Osanga has been granted lucrative Cdf deals by Murunga through proxxies which is part of their deal towards 2022. Others in the know whisper that a down payment to a tune of 3M has been paid by Murunga to Osanga to actualize the deal.
As the country engage in covid 19 war, Hon Murunga has also secretly funded the Khalaba ward mca with water tanks and sanitizer which Osanga has been distributing to help him scuttle opposition to his seat in 2022.
This latest development has kept Matungu talking.
One voter wondered
“You are employed by Murunga ,/cdf officer and you pretend to support Bonface Osanga 2022 _hapo tushamlika your immoral mission it won’t go through sir/watu wa khalaba walichanuka kitambo peleka ukora mbali”
This was a clearest indication that Hon Murunga has planted Khalaba ward Mca as his project in the 2022 election.
On his part Wilberforce Ongoma from Khalaba ward did not have kind words for the Murunga/Osanga political conmanship and said
“How can you replace a failure with another failure? Matungu is not short of brains to steer it to greater heights. Murunga and his pet project Osanga have outlived their usefullness” said Ongoma.
Anthony Musumba termed this arrangement as daytime thievery that people of Matungu should resist by all means.
Whatever dirty deals the two may conspire into, Matungu is pregnant for change and politics of development without Murunga and Osanga
