Schools to remain closed as Kenya hits 355 confirmed cases with 106 recoveries.

Covid 19 death remain at 14 as we surpass the 100 mark on recoveries. This is good news as the government steps up the war on covid 19.
In the last 24hrs 12 people have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Kenya, raising the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 355.

The Health Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) Dr Rashid Aman said eight more patients have been discharged from hospital after recovering. The number of COVID-19 recoveries now stand at 106.

Eight of the new cases are from Nairobi and four from Mombasa
Mvita, Mwishomoroni, and Nyali are Mombasa’s hot areas.
Nairobi cases are spread as follows: Kibra (2), Karen (1) Dandora(1), Eastleigh(1) South B(1), Kasarani(1) and Umoja (1)

The CAS announced that the National Emergency Response Committee on Coronavirus held a meeting today and extensively deliberated on reopening of eateries and restaurants. Dr Aman said the ministry will soon issue guidelines before the joints resume operations

As restaurants prepare to open, schools will remain closed for one more month. Schools were to reopen on 4th for second term learning but the Cs has added one more month as the government monitors covid 19 situation.
There was no mention on churches and other worship places
