Bungoma county government is always in the news for wrong reasons. When they are not buying wheelbarrows for 100k. they are busy buying jerricans at 10k or telling off the president.
Hours after President Uhuru ordered that all State Agencies should not disconnect water, the Bungoma manager of Nzowasco sends his team to disconnect water all over the town.
When a town resident called the manager, he was told that “ambia Uhuru akuje alipe Maji, Sisi hapa Bungoma hapana tambua yeye”
Clearly, State officials are the weak link in the war against Corona.
It is MCAs that are still holding parties. It is policemen that are still drinking in closed bars. It is the check points that are still letting people in and out of locked down areas.
Clearly Mutahi Kagwe should spend more time threatening State Officials like these guys in Nzowasco. He should send the Nzowasco management to mandatory Quarantine to instill discipline.
Water is an important aspect in combating covid 19. Bungoma county should act in the best interest of humanity
