FKF Elections Sam Nyamweya VS Nick Mwendwa who is the better evil? Kenyan fans in a dilemma

Dice is cast as former football doyen announces a return in the forth coming Fkf elections. The former football president has listened to his heart and last weekend he shocked the world when he announced a return to soccer management.

We all know how he failed badly during his tenure as the head of the governing body in Kenya. The hue and cry from players and soccer lovers had almost lost meaning but Sam Nyamweya has decided to resuscitate it.

Former FKF Chairman Sam Nyamweya

It seems football body and fraternity in Kenya lacks serious contenders or Nick Mwendwa has made a deal with Sam Nyamweya to retain the seat through split votes. What ideas or skills is Nyamweya bringing to the office that is already overstretched and overwhelmed by incompetent talk from Nick Mwendwa?

Since Nick took over a lot has not changed in soccer management. He has had his fair share of failures and equally torrents of blunders here and there.an He has tried putting on a brave face but just like Nyamweya, many people recall his failures more than success.

FKF Chairman Nick Mwendwa

In football nothing is important more than the management acumen, skills, leadership ability and broad soccer awareness of the office holder. Talk is cheap, but results is everything. Mwendwa has not succeeded in any feat since he took over the tough and challenging job of the body in the country. He is the only soccer president who has been hugely funded by the government. What achievement does he have for the millions he received from the government?

Mwendwa campaigned on a team change manifesto which actually rallied forces in the soccer Kenya to cause him win that election with a landslide. Fast forward to today and you wonder why Nick reclaiming the seat has become a thorn in the flesh because of court battles he has on his table.

Sam Nyamweya seems to have done his home work well. Initially he had worked through proxy to curtail Mwendwa from retaining the seat the unopposed. He had actually thrown his weight behind former Vihiga governor whom he thought he could throw Nick Mwendwa out but rumours has it that the former governor is broke to the core. He has no money to sustain a tough a campaign like fkf election.

So the question remains, besides Nick Mwendwa and Sam Nyamweya, who else can take the helm of football soccer in the country and actually perform better than the two duelist? Does Kenya luck men who can send Nick and his arch rival home? What will happen if this election has no ultimate challenger?
