Ingwe Chairman Dan Shikanda calls Ole Magelo and Ekhalie busy bodies

Fresh wrangles could be in the offing as club President exchange bitterly with former Ceo Richard Ekhalie and former club Chairman Alex Ole Magelo.

Richard Ekhalie has crafted a scheme that will see the club transform corporate to achieve this, the branches will be rendered absolute.

A majority of branch leaders have dismissed the bid with social media a wash with pro and anti Ekhalie vision.

Richard Ekhalie prides himself as the brainchild behind Ingwe’s rebirth an achievement that most dot.com members dont seem to aknowledge.

Club chairman Dan Shikanda while speaking to Good Morning Kenya sports desk said the proposal is part of a scheme by former officials of the club to rise to leadership through the back door.

Shikanda has said his administration will open more branches countrywide, particularly in Western Kenya where the 13-time Kenyan
champions enjoy fanatical support.

“Why didn’t they achieve what they are proposing now when they were
at the helm? This is politics carried over from the last election. The
branches will not be dissolved under my leadership,” said Shikanda.

Chairman of Branches Gilbert Andugu has also added his voice saying branches play a pivotal role and should stay.

Currently Afc is facing challenges paying salaries and the covid 19 pandemic has not even made it easier for players who depended on gate collections .
