Pack and Go Alex Magelo tell FKF and Nick Mwendwa

Former AFC Leopards chairman Alex ole Magelo now wants fifa to constitute a Normalisation Committee immediately to save Kenya from being ejected from the 2022 World Cup qualifiers after Football
Kenya Federation (FKF) defaulted in paying former coach Adel .

On April 20 FKF, President Nick Mwendwa citing the COVID-19 pandemic, wrote to Fifa asking for more time to comply with Court of Arbitration for
Sport’s directive to pay Amrouche.

“Covid 19 cannot be used as an excuse for Mwendwa’s ineptitude and inability to steer fkf well. The shoes Mwendwa is wearing are too big for him and the sooner he exit the better for Kenyans soccer lovers” Magelo added.

Hon Magelo, a sports enthusiast and a former Nairobi County Assembly speaker said Mwendwa acted unilaterally and ended up mismanaging Amrouche’s case, which has left Harambee Stars on the verge of exiting 2022 Fifa World Cup qualifiers without kicking a ball.

Magelo has received backing from Bandari fc board of trustees Mr Twaha .
“We demand that Nick Mwendwa and his executive team which the Sports Disputes Tribunal confirmed that their term of office had lapsed should
handover the institution to a Normalization Committee. The national football team carries the hopes and aspirations of a country.
Therefore, the Kenyan government should consult, as a matter of urgency, with Fifa to ensure Harambee Star are not thrown out,” Twaha said.

“We cannot joke with the sporting career of young boys and girls. The only noble thing for Nick to do, is to immediately pack, handover to a Normalisation Committee and go,” Magelo said.

Others who want Mwendwa out are former fkf boss Sam Nyamweya
