In many instances they have feigned fighting for you, today corona has demystified that lousy notion.
From Sunday 15th March 2020, where have our politicians gone to?
Have they quarantined themselves and left you all alone in streets, villages and towns of Kenya? Have they kept themselves in leafy suburbs and forgotten about you. Recently they were a number of soloists pro, and anti- BBI.
There is no kieleweke no tanga tanga, no threats of stopping reggae and counter threats. At some point you could have mistakenly thought that the country will burst into flames if nothing was done to quell the volume of noise that was coming from members of parliament.
It was simple, you are either for + BBI or -ve BBI. The discourse was a bit poisoning and nothing seemed in the eye sight to curtail the spread of what was almost becoming hate speech, discrimination, ,tribal attacks and verbal pegieoning.
Coronavirus came and politicians from all walks of life took a silence dive into darkness. If you are new in this country you wouldn’t know we have characters who speak politics January to January.
