Hon Alice Wahome Mp Kandara constituency becomes the second Mp to publicly demand that covid 19 patients names be made public. This is after Bungoma senator started the debate last week. While addressing the nation yesterday Cs Kagwe did not disclose names of patients even as roumers went around that a deputy governor from coast had turned positive.
Herman Manyora too echoed the same on a live Tv interview.
“Once Covid-19 patients’ family members have been informed, what other secret are you keeping?” ~ Manyora.
“What are people afraid of? This is not a sexual contact disease, it doesn’t have stigma ” ~ MP Alice Wahome.
On the Cs Mutahi Kagwe’s directive on funeral gatherings, Hon Wahome had this to say.
“I think CS Mutahi Kagwe needs to go further and define ‘family’, in an African set up, a family can be as large as 100 people” ~ MP Alice Wahome on burials.
