Boss wa Dagoh Dr. Norah Bosibori: The People’s Mkombozi Lighting Up Dagoretti North

By Bryson Nga’anga

Dagoretti North is slowly but surely warming up to a new kind of leadership—one built on action, not empty rhetoric. At the heart of this shift is Dr. Norah Bosibori, widely celebrated as Boss wa Dagoh and proudly embraced by residents as Mkombozi, the one who uplifts and delivers transformation.

Living true to her mantra “Educate, Enlighten and Empower,” Dr. Bosibori has rolled out a grassroots business empowerment programme that is already making waves across the constituency. Her latest initiative—distribution of garden umbrellas to small-scale traders—has touched the lives of men, women, and youth who form the heartbeat of Dagoretti North’s economy.

For many, the umbrellas are more than just shelter from the scorching sun and unpredictable rains. They represent dignity, recognition, and a leader who sees and values their daily hustle.

“Small businesses carry the dreams and dignity of Dagoretti North. We are working on a sustainable model to help them thrive,” Dr. Bosibori said while launching the programme.

Her words resonated strongly with the traders who received the support.

“Hii msaada imetusaidia sana, sasa tunaweza kuuza mboga zetu bila hofu ya mvua au jua kali. Mungu abariki Boss wa Dagoh,” said a Mama Mboga in Kawangware.

A cobbler  in Kabiro added:

“Kazi yetu mara nyingi iko barabarani. Hizi miavuli zimetupa ulinzi na pia zinatufanya tujisikie kuthaminiwa.”

And from Gatina, a fruit vendor remarked:

“Umbrella hii ni zaidi ya kivuli. Ni ishara ya matumaini na uthibitisho kwamba tuna kiongozi anayetujali.”

These heartfelt voices paint a clear picture: Dagoretti North is ready for a leader who prioritizes people, not politics. By empowering small businesses—the true backbone of the constituency—Dr. Bosibori is sending a strong message that under her stewardship, no hustler will be left behind.

Her growing popularity as Mkombozi reflects a groundswell of support for her 2027 parliamentary bid. Unlike leaders of the past, whose promises dissolved after elections, Dr. Bosibori is demonstrating her leadership long before she takes office. She is walking with the people, listening to their needs, and delivering solutions that matter.

With every umbrella she distributes, she is not just shielding traders from sun and rain—she is shielding their hopes, their families, and their livelihoods.

Dagoretti North is witnessing the rise of a people-centered leader, one who believes that every trader counts, every business matters, and every voice deserves to be heard. Come 2027, many residents believe that Boss wa Dagoh Hon. Norah Bosibori will not just be a candidate, but the people’s choice and the true Mkombozi of Dagoretti North.
