As the drums of the prestigious Itumi festival fall silent across Tiriki land, a familiar political rhythm is starting to beat again in Hamisi Constituency — and its tempo is set by none other than Elphas Amadadi Boge.

Widely known for his humility, pragmatism, and unwavering commitment to the grassroots, Boge has officially resumed his campaign trail, seeking to unseat incumbents and usher in a new chapter for Hamisi as its next Member of Parliament in 2027.

“My agenda remains the same. The focus is still intact. We must transform Hamisi,” Boge declared as he addressed residents following the conclusion of the revered Tiriki circumcision festival.

The cultural event, deeply respected among the Tiriki community, prompted Boge to momentarily pause his political engagements. His decision to give the festival space reflects a deeper philosophy — that leadership must be anchored in cultural respect and community values.

“We want to thank God for the just-concluded circumcision event that showcased our beautiful culture. As a Tiriki, I had to shelve most of my political engagements and pay utmost attention to the only event in Tiriki land. He who doesn’t respect his culture is doomed,” he remarked.

A Servant Leader With a Track Record

Unlike many in the political space, Boge is not known for fiery speeches or populist slogans. Instead, it’s his record of service that’s doing the talking — and Hamisi residents are listening.

“We have leaders who talk so they can be seen. Boge doesn’t talk much. His actions and good deeds talk on his behalf,” said a resident of Banja Ward. “From helping put roofs over widows’ heads, to supporting vulnerable households and funding education for bright, needy students — that is the hallmark of Hon. Boge. We shall walk with him in 2027 and beyond.”

Indeed, Boge’s quiet but impactful leadership has struck a chord across Hamisi. From jigger eradication campaigns and youth empowerment programs to women’s economic initiatives and housing projects, his reach has extended deep into the community — all without access to the Constituency Development Fund (CDF).

“If we’ve achieved all this without the CDF kitty, how much more can we do with it?” Boge posed to a cheering crowd during a tour of the constituency last week.

Unity, Development, and Vision

As he moved from village to village celebrating with newly initiated young men, Boge’s core message remained consistent: unity, hard work, and practical solutions for lasting transformation.

“We must work together as the great people of Hamisi. Unity should be the fabric that binds us. Let us be pragmatic, identify areas that need intervention, and work towards change. I am ready and willing.”

While many aspirants are just beginning to surface, recent opinion polls already place Boge neck and neck with seasoned political figures including Hon. Charles Gimose, Hon. Collins Ayuga, and Castro Khabongo — a clear signal that the ground is shifting.

As the 2027 general election approaches, one name keeps resurfacing in conversations across markets, homes, and barazas in Hamisi — Elphas Amadadi Boge. Not as a politician, but as a leader. A servant. A visionary.

And if the winds of change continue to blow in his direction, Hamisi may just find in him the transformation it has long yearned for.
