Pomp and color as Elachi super cup finals take place at Lavington Primary school

The Mama Dago Super Cup which is an annual soccer event sponsored by the Dagoretti North MP has become a spectacle to behold in Dagoretti North constituency. As the finals of the tournament took place at Lavington, new talents were unveiled which is in line with what the MP has been advocating for.
The theme of this year’s tournament ” kick out crime and drugs “. The final was a resounding success yesterday at Lavington Girls Secondary School, expertly organized by Hon. Beatrice Elachi. This tournament powerfully promoted sports and community engagement among youth, uniting them and showcasing remarkable talent.
Hon. Elachi’s unwavering commitment to empowering young people through sports was clearly evident, reinforcing the vital role such events play in encouraging physical activity, confidence, and teamwork besides unearthing talent as we move them away from crime and drugs.

The event drew an impressive crowd from Dagoretti North and beyond.
The Makadara legislator Hon George Aladwa who is also the ODM party Chairman, Nairobi County led a host of other dignitaries including Hon Kennedy Swaka MCA Gatina, Hon Clarence Munga MCA for Kabiro and key representatives from Morzat Bet, among others.
While speaking at the event Hon Aladwa thanked the host MP for her efforts in promoting sports as an antidote against crime in this city.
“I want to salute my sister Hon Elachi for her relentless efforts in helping our young boys and girls to keep of crime, drugs and teen pregnancies by actively engaging them in sporting activities. Dagoretti North is blessed to have Elachi who am informed she is referred to as Mama Dago. I also wish to tell our ODM members that our party has immense confidence and respect in Hon Elachi. She is a trusted soldier and can help revitalize this party here in Dagoretti North. As we say Chama ni ya Baba but Dagoretti North is in the safe hands of Hon Elachi.”
Aladwa further urged Dagoretti North people to support Elachi in her journey of transforming Dagoretti North.
While speaking during the ceremony awards, Hon Elachi thanked all the trams that took part in the tournament commending them for their sportsmanship.
“I wish to thank all the participants of this years tournament for carrying themselves with dignity and sportsmanship. I promise to continue working with the youths which is the backbone of our future generation. A disorganized youth will spell doom for our future generation. I have also identified those youths who need tertiary education which I will endeavour to assist.
Gatina Ward MCA Hon Kennedy Swaka and his Kabiro counterpart Hon Munga Clarence were in attendance.
Hon Swaka prevailed upon Dagoretti North voters to support ELACHI in her transformative agenda. The same was echoed by Kabiro ward MCA Hon Munga who described Elachi as a mother figure that Dagoretti North has been yearning for
