Education PS Beatrice Inyangala loses her brother the Maendeleo Democratic Party leader Hamisi Muganda in a grissly down road accident
An early mkrning accident in Kakamega has claimed the life of Maendeleo Democratic Party boss Hamisi Muganda brother to education PS Beatrice Inyangala.
The Ps took to her Twitter to añnounce the sad news.
“Today I mourn with profound sadness the unbelievable demise of my brother in a road accident. In heaven and on earth you will always be a most treasured family member. Hon Amis Omukanda, Chief Maendeleo Party leader … my cherished brother, friend and political mentor is no more” tweeted Inyangala.
Until his demise, the late Joseph Hamisi Muganda was the founder of the Maendeleo Democratic Party.
The retired cop was a respectable person who was always jovial and easy.
It will be remembered that MDP sponsored Malulu Injendi in 2017 as Malava MP against the ANC and ODM and prevailed.
During the Kibra by elections, MDP sponsored Martin Andati for the position of MP. Mr Muganda was personally on the ground seeking votes for his party’s candidate.
Other leaders who have mourned him include Kakamega governor Fernandes Barasa who described his lose as a big blow to Kakamega county and the nation at large.
