Hon Aladwa come to the rescue of Vihiga bullets FC stranded at Nyayo after Ingwe match.
Vihiga bullets Fc, a team from Vihiga county are facing a very difficult time.
Last week, the time due to its financial co straints dished a walk over to Sofapaka fc due to unavailability of funds to honor the match.
Today February 2nd the time amid harsh economic times, managed to pull together some money to come to Nairobi to honor a fixture against Afc leopards.
” We appealed to well wishers to come to our rescue, mama mbogas in Vihiga were generous enough to contribute some money to enable us travel to Nairobi. We are now here stranded after our match against Ingwe” Vihiga fc coach said.
The news of Vihiga bullets fc woes spread like bushfire in the hamattan. Upon hearing this through social media, Hon Aladwa who has declared interest in Vihiga governorship in 2027 came to the aid of the stranded players by immodiately ensuring they get food and transport back home.
“Vihiga bullets is undergoing some serious financial woes. This evening I received a distress call from their coach and as a stop gap measure tried and sorted their immidiate need which were food and transport back home. They have also appealed to me to temporarily step in as their patron which I have also accepted. These young boys are talented and it is upto us leaders to help them live yheir dream.Vihiga is my home county and as a leader I cant sit back and see them go down, I will assist them” Aladwa said.
Vihiga bullets went down 1:0 to Afc leopards who drew with Gpr mahia on Sunday at the same venue. They now sit at position 17
