We Will not stay at home to Watch a boring Uhuru on Tv: Kenyans say

A section of Kenyans have taken to social media to register their dissatisfaction on how the prrsident is handling matters in the wake of covid 19 pandemic.

The president on several occasion has looked bored and out of touch with the common mwananchi’s most pressing needs even as we fight covid 19.

Last month Kenyans were expecting a myriad of measures that the government was putting in place even as we fight covid 19 only for the head of state to end up talking about balloons that made no sense to a roadside corn seller in the slums of Nairobi.

Today was no different either. To say that Kenyans expected what the president deivered will be misrepresenting facts. Infact apart from the good news that 53 patients got healed, Uhuru said nothing. Infact many Kenyans prefer the beautiful Mercy Mwangangi to deliver such news, her demeanor and looks breath some energy in an otherwise difficult situation unlike the tired and stresed up Mutahi Kagwe.

One Victor Mochere expected the president to address the following
If President Uhuru Kenyatta speech won’t address the following, then he’s wasting our time:

  1. Rent
  2. Food security
  3. Police brutality
  4. Pay cut for MPs
  5. Failing economy
  6. Kenyans in China
  7. Plight of quarantined persons
  8. Safety of health workers
  9. Brookside donation
It looked like Uhuru wasted his time.

Breaking News: Kenyan tenants switch off their television sets en masse after President Uhuru Kenyatta fails to mention rent waivers in his weekly COVID-19 address. They say the President is out of touch with reality, and his barber.

President Uhuru Kenyatta is assuming as if we are not living in rental houses , He should give an executive order to protect us from our landlords whom thinks we are worse than Covid-19 in their lives , Let him waive Rents for 90 days , we can afford food for the time being!

The general feeling is President Uhuru is out of touch with the common man and the sooner he discovers the better.
