Jane Chirchir a Kenyan lady whose status the government relied on to confirm its first corona virus case has come out in a self recorded video and denied the claims made by Mutahi Kwagwe minister for health in the company of her family and the driver who took her around.
She confirms that she travelled from Nairobi to Kitale, to eldoret and up to the village of Keiyo just how the government told Kenyans. But she denies using public means, instead shev used her dad’s car around and flew back on a private jetlink.
When she arrived she was screened and didn’t test postive at entry point and she has denied allegations from the government and she claims she is going to sue the government of Kenya. In the video, she looks healthy and kisses her daughter who she says they travelled together. The daughter confirms that they dont have corona virus whatsoever!
The question remains, did the government want to kill two birds with one stone? Did the government want to ban Reggae and stop a back clash in the rift valley? Was the government’s timing right or wrong? Corona virus is a serious problem but between the lady and the government who is cheating Kenyans?
