Ndaragwa Landlord Waives Rent for two Month in a bid to help mitigate coronavirus pressure

Michael Munene a Ndaragwa landlord waves payment of rent for two month for his clients in both his business and residential premises.

This gesture has won praises from Kenyans of all walks of life.

“The corona epidermic has brought untold economic suffering to all of us. Most of our tenants are not making money and demanding rent from them at this point and time is like torturing them. I have therefore waved rent for two month in so that we can all fight this disease.”. Mr Munene said.

In Uganda, president Museveni has asked land lords not to collect rent for 90 days as his government put up measures to fight covid 19. Uganda has closed its boarders and it is not allowing entries into the country
