Former Gor official and Langata MP aspirant Sally Bolo rallies sports fraternity behind Igathe.

Former Gor Mahia football club Treasurer Sally Bolo has rallied Nairobi residents and the sports fraternity in Nairobi to support Polycarp Igathe in his gubernatorial bid during the upcoming August 9th general elections.

Sally, who until recently, was an aspirant for the Lang’ata Member of Parliament seat said at an interview with journalists that as an outspoken sports administrator and political leader, she has carefully scrutinized the candidates for the seat of governor in Nairobi and Igathe stands out as the one with the best credentials to uplift the standards of sports in the city county.

“As former ODM Lang’ata MP aspirant and Former Gor Mahia Treasurer, I want to rally the sports fraternity in Nairobi to support Polycarp Igathe as the next Nairobi Governor. Igathe stands out as the best for Nairobi. His passion about the common man at the grassroots is evidence that he is passionate about the needs of Nairobi residents and I believe he will deliver for the sports fraternity,” Sally said.

According to the ODM politician, Igathe, who is the Nairobi Azimio La Umoja One Kenya candidate for governor on a Jubilee party ticket, is the only candidate who has demonstrated his willingness to listen to the needs of the common man and this tells that he will be ready to listen to the sports persons once in office.

For one, Igathe is in Azimio La Umoja One Kenya and we in Azimio understand the needs of the youth. I am a sports administrator and I understand what is needed to improve sports in Nairobi which carries more than 60 percent of all sports in Kenya. We must have a governor who is ready to listen and work for us in sports and that is why I am asking you the people of Nairobi to vote for Polycarp Igathe,” Sally noted.

Igathe has during his campaigns adopted a new style of going directly to the people in a bid to know their problems and seek to understand the solutions that they require.
