Azimio La Umoja Presidential candidate Raila Odinga’s point man in Nairobi West Ward
Rex Omolleh has received the backing of a section of elders, the youth and church leaders from the area.
Led by Joseph Otieno, the elders and clergy who addressed the press today said that Omolleh was the right man for the Nairobi West ward seat
“Omolleh is the best man to take over from the outgoing MCA. We want a visionary leader who will take our ward foward and Omolleh fits the bill,” Otieno said.
While thanking Omolleh for his outstanding suport to the youths, churches and the elderly people in the society, Otieno said that Omolleh had demonstrated his commitment to serving the people.
“His good work and suport for our people is seen even though he is not the MCA,” Otieno noted.

Alfred Kabuya, a church leader urged locals to elect the youthful politician as the area MCA during the upcoming August general elections.
Omolleh has been attending to the Nairobi west electorate since 2013 making them think that he is the current serving MCA.
When reached for comment Omolleh said that he was thankful for their suport and vowed to deliver.
“We shall fix the issues of roads, education and employment among our people, I know their suport will not go unnoticed,” he said
Omolleh said that he was deternined to bring back the lost glory of Nairobi West ward.
” We shall bring the lost glory of Nairobi west Ward. Nairobi west ward has been neglected and Raila Odinga no longer enjoys coming at the mini pub to meet his people as he used to do many years ago. Nairobi west has lost order and turned into a slum,” he said.
