Antony Waithaka unveils a 12 point agenda fo Makadara as his popularity takes an upward trajectory.

Prominent businessman and Makadara parliamentary candidate Anthony Waithaka has laid out a 12 point manifesto that he will use to transform the area once elected the next MP.
Waithaka released the blue print for the people of Makadara as the campaigns for the next general elections scheduled to be held on 9th August, 2022 shape up.
The businessman and philanthropist, who is seeking to vie for the seat on a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party ticket has outlined water, housing, security and education among the pillars the will anchor his term on.
In the 12 point agenda, Waithaka has promised to boost clean water supply and improve sanitation, articulate public housing development, ensure there is equitable distribution of bursaries and protect school lands from land grabbers as well as creating a cohesive partnership with security agencies for safety and security.
In his administration, Waithaka has said he will represent the unique needs of the residents of Makadara and complete stalled projects initiated by the National Government Constituency Development Fund.
He has promised to lobby for an increment of funds allocated to the constituencies and promote good legislation in the August house and initiate signature infrastructural projects.
Waithaka also will look at capacity building and empowerment of residents as well as promote effective communication and encourage and improve the area of public participation.
