Richard Ngatia mobilizes thousands of Nairobians to grace Azimio rally at Jacaranda grounds.

Nairobi, 12th March, 2022:

Jubilee Party Nairobi Gubernatorial aspirant and Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) president Richard Ngatia today put his best foot forward as he mobilised thousands of his Nairobi supporters who thronged the Jacaranda Grounds in Embakasi for the Azimio La Umoja mega rally.

Ngatia and the Nairobi Azimio la Umoja brigade made water tight plans to mobilise supporters – mainly drawn from Jubilee Party and Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) parties- to attend the mega rally that marked the crowning moment of the Azimio La Umoja Coalition party Presidential Candidate Raila Odinga.

Today, our captain Raila Odinga was unveiled at KICC and as his foot soldiers on the ground, we had to let the world know that the city is solidly behind Raila Odinga and Azimio La Umoja,”Ngatia said.

“Our work was cut out. As the incoming governor of Nairobi, I was there to ensure our supporters come out in their numbers to listen to our leader Raila Odinga who will be the fifth President of Kenya come August,” Ngatia said.

During the Jacaranda rally, peace prevailed as the mammoth crowd patiently waited for the crowning moment of Odinga at the KICC inter-parties joint National Delegates Convention that was led by President Uhuru Kenyatta and attended by party leaders of the 26 parties which signed the Azimio La Umoja coalition agreement.

Ngatia’s mobilization skills left many a seasoned city politician mouths agape. Ngatia, who has been ranking top at all opinion polls in the Nairobi gubernatorial contest that have been conducted by different firms this year showed why he is made of the finest material in city underlining why his ratings continue to sky rocket.

His entry into the Nairobi race and quick popularity has been seen as a shift from the culture of electing leaders based on their tribe and political inclination to that of electing leaders based on their expertise and track record.
Ngatia, who until his entry into city politics was seen as an underdog has become the talk of the town cartels that are now running amok.

The KNCCI boss and business magnate was introduced to the elated crowd amid thunderous cheer, just moments before Raila and President Uhuru made their entry at the Jacaranda ground.
