The trio said they will ensure that that the ODM party retained the Nairobi Women’s representative seat under the auspices of the Azimio La Umoja alliance.
We are ready to cooperate and work together in delivering the seat to the ODM wing of Azimio even if it means supporting Beatrice Kwamboka who is an experienced lawmaker as she is already in the parliamentary system of Bunge as a Senator,” said Nanjala and Skeeter.

The declaration by Nanjala and Skeeter comes in the heels of an announcement by former Kasarani Member of Parliament (MP) and Metropolitan assistant minister Elizabeth Ongoro who is eyeing the Nairobi Women’s representative seat on an ODM ticket hinting at backing Kwamboka to capture the Orange party’s ticket.

Kwamboka said she will do all that it has her disposal in ensuring that the Nairobi Women’s representative’s post remains in ODM.

The Senator further invited Nairobians to attend the Azimio Mega rally at Jacaranda grounds on Saturday, March 12th, 2022, which will be a defining moment for Kenya’s presidential elections where ODM party leader and former Prime Minister will be officially unveiled as the Azimio presidential candidate.

“Usingoje kuambiwa, kuja ujionee Baba akitawazwa in Kenya’s historic moments of witnessing the flagging off to State House for Kenya’s fifth President Raila Amolo Odinga,” said Kwamboka
