SCARE! Harambee stars vs Comoros match pulled off.

The government of Kenya has called off Kenya’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualification game away to Comoros in a bid to ‘safeguard the the team and the travelling party from the Coronavirus scourge.

This match was slated away in Comoros on March 31, but a directive from Sports PS Joe Okudo and copied to Director of Immigration Services Mr Muteshi confirmed the development.

Also the return home match involving these two teams slated for Nairobi is also in doubt after Football Kenya Federation (FKF) prrsident Mr Nick Mwendwa wrote to the Confederation of African Football (Caf) requesting a postponement on the same grounds that the government of Kenya has suspended visits of more than 15 people jetting in.

A squad of local-based Harambee Stars players is already in camp preparing for this game but our foreign reporter could not locate our foreign based players like Michael Olunga of Kashiwa Reysol in Japan Masoud Juma, Victor Wanyama and Johanna ‘Tosh’ Omollo who may be unavailable should the matches proceed. Japan is currently on Lock down.
