Kevin Neto: Luhyas should work with other regions for political success.

Kevin Neto a city lawyer and Matungu politician has added his voice on the raging luhya unity debate.

Speaking in Kakamega town yesterday, Mr Neto said that the Luhya unity of purpose for social economic and political empowernment cannot be achieved in seclusion.

“The people of Mulembe should understand that our share of the national cake can only be achieved through teamwork with other regions, we should be open and embrace friends from other regions since no single community can ascend to the presidency as a single entity” Neto said.

While weighing in on the presidency debate come 2022, Neto said that 2022 presents a very dynamic moment for a Kenyan voter to decide on the deatiny of this nation.

“Our country is facing a myriad of problems and Covid 19 has not made matters even better. The current high standards of living have made life hard for a common mwananchi. We therefore call on the electorate to look yonder and give the mantle to someone who can turn around the fortunes of this nation. The most pressing issues should be addressed but most importantly by choosing the right person for the top job” added Neto.

ODM ,Ford Kenya and ANC are the major parties in the former western province region.

Mr Neto who is keen on contesting for Matungu parliamentary seat in 2022 has clearly sent signals that he may be giving a stab on the seat on either Ford Kenya, ANC or ODM.

“ODM,ANC and Ford Kenya are the dominant parties in our region, we must therefore find a way of working around together for the good of our region. I will be offering myself for election in 2022 and either of the three parties will be my vehicle of choice for member of parliament for Matungu constituency.
