But since the arrival of the Mudavadi faction in the mountain, things are becoming slippery for the deputy president as the who of the Mountain is running with Hon. Mudavadi and not the Deputy President. Hon. Mudavadi has visited the mountain 7 times in the last 3 months and his train is causing havoc in the camp of Dr. William Ruto.
For instance, Mudavadi meetings have been attended by high-profile members of the Agikuyu community who hold the biggest political opinion when it comes to matters’ decisions. These developments have seen Denis Itumbu the UDA misinformer report misinformation that is meant to justify the latest developments in the Mountain.
He has been commissioned to spin that Hon. Musalia Mudavadi is poised to become the Jubilee deputy party leader to replace Dr. William Ruto. Denis Itumbi is a malicious propagator working for UDA and Dr. William Ruto. But with that misinformation, notwithstanding, the facts remain that Hon. Mudavadi is causing panic in the UDA camp. Between Mudavadi and Ruto, Mudavadi seemingly will definitely scoop more Mt Kenya votes than Dr. William Ruto.
So Denise Itumbi should seat on his laurels and chill out because for Hon. Musalia Mudavadi, the trip to the Mountain has just begun while for DR. William Ruto, the trip is just ending. Results will speak for themselves come 2022. The battle for the Mountain is not in the minds but in the hearts. Whoever will win their hearts will win their minds and equally their votes. Hon. Mudavadi has the character to win the Mountain Heart. As for his other opponent, it is too early to state what will happen to Hon. Raila in the Mountain. His fate is always known, but since he has a handshake with Uhuru, it is a wait-and-see scenario.
