President Uhuru Kenyatta’s craze for self drives and his latest apetite to drive himself around catches his bodyguards off guard.
On Saturday at statehouse, Uhuru unveiled a brand new bus for Afc leopards. As it is a norm, Uhuru got behind the wheel and beckoned everyone to jump in and buckle up.
The C.in. C drove the bus around statehouse and freely cracked jokes with Afc leopards players. “Ninapoelekea retire nitakuja tuwe tunachapa hii kazi na nyinyi mkicheza ball” Uhuru joked.
After unveiling the bus, Uhuru quickly changed gear and jumped into his mercedes benz G wagon and sped off to Nyayo stadium ready for the first lady’s beyond zero marathon at Nyayo as his security detail provided cover in two unmarked cars sandwiching the president at the middle.
During the late president Moi’s funeral preparation at Nyayo, Uhuru caused a stir when he self drove himself to inspect preparations at Nyayo.
Yesterday at state house during the official launch of the first locally assembled Mahindra vehicle, the president was at it again this time driving the pick up around statehouse as his security jumped behind to enjoy a ride from their boss.
