Sam Wanyama Sambu takes the UDA gospel to Dagoretti North a notch higher even as he plots to unseat Simba Arati in 2022.
The Hustler bug has gripped the nation and those who were writing off Dp Ruto and his Hustler narrative need to think twice and think again.
Political temperatures in Dagoretti north have risen to fever pitch and aspiring candidates have hit the ground like hurricane.
One such candidate is city businessman and investment expert Sam Wanyama Sambu popularly known as Sam Sambu.
Sambu is not new to Dagoretti North politics, born and brought up in Kawangware’s 56 area, Mr. Sambu does not need any introduction on the political terrain of Dagoretti North. He once vied in 2013 but in 2017, he chose to watch from a distance as he was busy on the national campaign.

Mr. Sambu has cut a niche for himself as the Hustler Movement evangelist in Dagoretti North. Through his vast networks and the Wanyama Sambu foundation which he leads, he has been able to register 30,000 UDA members thus making the wheelbarrow party one of the fastest-growing political entities in Dagoretti North.
”People have been so receptive on the ground and whenever we sell our party’s manifesto, we have not encountered and resistance. The bottom-up economic approach that we preach is what the common citizen needs to realize his potential” Sambu said.
But why Hustler Movement?
”My decision to join the hustler movement is informed by several factors but above all, we in the hustler nation are looking at how to change the lives of the very many ordinary citizens who wake up very early in the morning and work hard to earn and improve their lives. Our bottom up approach will ensure each and every person who toils is handsomely rewarded which will eventually help grow our economy” Sambu said.

The entry of Sambu into the Dagoretti North race and especially on the UDA Party has caused disquiet across the board with those who had planned to run on UDA opting for other parties.
I had the privilege of meeting with the private schools teachers in Kawagware over lunch at Friends church. We fellowshipped together and shared foodstuffs with this community of educators who are often neglected by the mainstream media and government operatives. A teacher is a teacher irrespective of whether employed by TSC or as a Private school teacher. They deserve equal treatment. With Simba Arati not likely to run in Dagoretti North in 2022, Mr Sambu is set on restoring the lost glory of Dagoretti North.
”We are not just running to assume power, I personally have a well-defined plan on what I want for my people. I was born and brought up here and therefore I need no directions when it comes to moving around this constituency, I will use existing networks to upgrade the well-being of this area. It is about time we the people of Dagoretti North took control of our destiny, time is now up for those who have been flocking to DN during the electioneering period in the guise of coming to transform our area. We are here to sort things up. UDA is my vehicle of choice and by the grace of God, we shall make it” concluded Sambu.
