Aladwa joins mourners in Emabungo Ward as Rev Jackson Ongalo is laid to rest-Vihiga.

Earlier today Hon George Omwera Aladwa joined friends and  family during the burial of the late Rev .Jackson Omitto Kabole Ongalo ,at  Mustinyi village ,Emabungo ward ,Luanda Subcounty.

Rev Ongalo was a reknowned preacher who has had a great impact in the field of evangelism and shepherding the church of God.

Hon Aladwa Eulogized him as a great man of God who used his position to change the society

“We have gathered here to lay to rest a great man of faith whose service to God and humanity is worthy emulating. Rev Jackson has lived a life that we must learn from, a life of putting God first by being of  great service to humanity” Aladwa said.

The same sentiments were echoed by ODM’s director of communication Mr Etale who was also in attendance.

Vihiga can only move forward if we all work hard by supporting our leaders.

While challenging Vihigans to work hard  and develop the county, Aladwa  who has already declared his interest in the Vihiga gubernatorial seat said that the great people of Vihiga have no choice but to work hard.

Vihiga has fertile land, good climate which is good for agri business. Let us go back into our farms and work hard” Aladwa said.

In honor of the late Rev Jackson Ongalo, Aladwa has promised to closely work with players in the sports industry across the country to ensure sports is developed and the many untapped talents are put to good use.

Vihiga is a hotbed of talent both in sports like rugby, and asoccer, our girls Vihiga queens are flying our county flag high , rugby and boys soccer too is growing well. I will ensure the gains made by our current governor Hon Otichilo are made better once I take over as county boss in 2027. I also want to request all of you to pray with me and support me as I seek to lead this great county once the term of my brother Gov Otichilo ends” said Aladwa amid cheers from the mourners.

Emabungo Ward MCA Hon Michael Katai of MCCP was also present.

The MCA said that the community has lost a great leader in Rev Jackson and prayed that God grants the family strength during this difficult time.

Hon Michael thanked Aladwa for coming to mourn with the family and Emabungo ward at large by inviting him to come again and again.
