Four Children Abandoned By mother In Mukuru Kwa Njenga Five Days Ago.
Single mother Mercy Mueni 35 left never to return five days later.
The 4 kids from 12 yrs to 3 yrs lack food, medication and education.
One neighbor said the lady had requested 100 bob to buy poison which would have solved their problem once and for all.
The eldest, Mary Ndike, “sijawahi ona baba, mama alikuwa na duka ikabomolewa na tractor, mama hana simu, amekuwa anafulia watu ndio tukule, mimi nasoma St Teresa Community School na huwa namba moja, huyu kijana alianza kutoka maziwa kwa matiti baadaye tukaona amefura mbele na inamuuma usiku halali.”
The little boy Mulwa Mwanzia has swollen testicles which require immediate medical attention.
Mary 12 appears to be very bright and is expected to join grade 7 next week though uncertain.
