Azimio dream team will make Nairobi great again-Senator Kwamboka
Nairobi, Saturday 26th March, 2022: Nairobi Women Representative aspirant Nominated Senator Beatrice Kwamboka believes Nairobi will be better with the leadership fronted by the Azimio la Umoja after the August 9th general elections.
The legislator said yesterday, Friday, that Nairobi will be better governed by the Nairobi Azimio dream team as the team has already gelled and crafted a working formula.
“Nairobi will be better governed by a team that will not be engaging in constant squabbling. The Azimio la Umoja Nairobi dream team will deliver for Nairobi because we have gelled and have agreed on the model we shall use to lead this great county,” Kwamboka said
.
The Nairobi Azimio la Umoja dream team is a combination that has been crafted ahead of the party nominations, due in April, that consist of Richard Ngatia as Governor, Maina Kamanda as Senator and Beatrice Kwamboka as the Women Representative.
Kamboka exuded confidence that Azimio la Umoja would wrap up all the 17 parliamentary seats in Nairobi and over 60 ward MCAs out of the 85 areas of representation in the county assembly.
“Azimio will have all the 17 Nairobi Members of Parliament and more than 60 MCAs. This majority will mean that we have the requisite numbers and we have consensus in governing so we shall not subject Nairobians to infighting,” Kwamboka noted.
“This will give the Azimio Nairobi dream team an easy time in managing the city since there will be no those unnecessary rivalries and fights in the management of Nairobi county,” the senator said.
Drumming up support for the Azimio la Umoja Presidential candidate Raila Odinga, Kwamboka said that the ODM leader will this time round garner 10 million votes in his presidential bid.
