Nairobi County ‘Substantive majority leader Hon Abdi Guyo condemns the terror visited on Hon Patricia Mutheu by policemen
Matopeni Ward Mca and the ‘Substantive Nairobi county Majority leader has added his voice on the inhumane and mishandling, beating and terror visited on Hon members at the Nairobi county assembly and specifically the clobbering of Hon Mutheu.

I wish to take this opportunity to strongly condemn the in humane act orchestrated against Nairobi city county Assembly Hon. Members at the princints of Assembly.
Infact ,We are really saddened by the heneious act of beating and clabbing of Mlango kubwa MCA Hon. Patricia Mutheu and despite her several pleas continuously assaulted by well known police officers.
I wish to urge the relevant authorities i.e the DCI and DPP to investigate the matter and bring the culprit to book. Also, as We exercise our constitutional mandate , we will not relent nor succumb to any act of intimidation.
I wish to challenge the internal security CS Mr. Matiangi to substantiate his remarks and provide proof of Goons and Guns in the Assembly during the incident.” Hon Guyo demanded.
Other leaders including Hon Shebesh, Hon Omanga and Hon Martha Karua too have lashed at Mr Mutyambai for presiding over a reckless police service that has zero regard for human rights
