Shame on Governor Sospeter Ojamong as a mother of a one month old baby sleeps on the floor in a quarantine facility

Busia county is at it again all for the wrong reasons. Seems like governor Odek Ojamong has not learnt anything from Mombasa county counterpart Governor Joho when it comes to covid 19 war.

A woman identified as Evelyne Akumu with her one month old baby have been forced to spend nights on a floor without a mattress. This is after mother and kid were forced into quarantine.

Governor Mike Sonko has volunteered to help out the desperate woman.

“Gvn Mike Sonko is looking for this Woman who Busia Police have forcefully quarantined with her 1 month old baby. The quarantine facility is reported to have no beds forcing the mother & child to spend on a carton exposing them to a pneumonia attack”, a post from Sonko Rescue team read.

This is in Nambale subcounty, busia county at Kisoko girls secondary school quarantine facility.

Governor Sonko has already established contacts with the woman and help is on the way
