Alex Kidake ready to fly the Ford Kenya flag during the VIHIGA county gubernatorial race in 2022.
Over the weekend, Mr. Alex Kidake the Vihiga county gubernatorial aspirant traversed the vast county marketing his bid for the top seat come 2022.
In what he dubbed as county tour, Hon Kidake visited the following areas where he engaged with various grassroots leaders.
On Sunday, his whirlwind tour took him to Hamisi sub-county where he addressed various groups and churches at the following places
1] Kapchemwani Pag church in Gisambai ward.
2)Zululu Pag church in Jepkoyai ward.
3) Kapsajion Orthodox church Tambua ward
4)Bondeni ADC church
5)Bukulunya P.AG church.
In all the areas he visited, Mr. Kidake explained himself to the people, his development agenda and urged the electorates to rally behind him when the time comes.
While speaking at Bondeni church in Banja ward, Mr. Kidake said that Vihiga county was endowed with great resources that can transform the county and urged locals never to despair but remain focused and bring change.
‘’ Our county is rich in so many ways, it is about time we all rally our efforts towards transforming it. We should help in this by electing leaders who are God-fearing and mindful of people’s needs’’ Said Kidake.
While pledging to walk with Mr. Kidake, the church leaders prayed over him and beseeched God to guide him in his endeavor to liberate the people of Vihiga.
‘’ Devolution has brought significant changes in other counties around the country, it is a shame that Vihiga county is still struggling despite the fact that we get money from the central government. We thank God for bringing you here as our Moses to deliver us from the wilderness of poverty and underdevelopment’’ a church elder said.

While addressing the ADC church at Bukulunya where he also presided over a funds drive for the furtherment of God’s work, Mr.Kidake urged the faithful to rally behind BBI by appending their signatures as requested by the political leadership in the country.
‘’BBI is a done deal, let us be part of history by fully supporting the proposed constitutional amendments. As a county we stand to gain immensely from the revised county allocations of 35% up from 15%’’ Kidake explained.

As months turn into days and 2022 beckons, Mr. Kidake has made his intentions known and his party of choice for the bid will be the Simba party Ford KENYA.
Mr. Kidake now joins the ranks of Hon Akaranga who vied and won on Ford Kenya in 2002 in Sabatia trouncing the then vice president Hon Mudavadi and now the Hamisi MP Hon Gimose himself a ford Kenya MP
Mr. Kidake was received by the Fk party boss Hon Wetangula who assured him of the party’s support. Ford Kenya has two governors out of the 5 from the vast western Kenya region and with Kidake gunning for the top seat, it now goes without saying that Ford Kenya will be the party to watch in 2022 should Kidake deliver the seat.
While speaking to his supporters, Mr. Kidake has promised to work extremely hard and actualize his liberation dream for the great county of Vihiga.
‘’ Our journey has started and our choice for Ford Kenya is informed by the rich democratic ideals held by Ford Kenya which is the mother of democracy in Kenya. Under the leadership of Sen Wetangula, we hope to redeem our lost glory as a major political player in this country besides transforming the great county of Vihiga to greater heights’’ added Kidake.
