Kisumu all stars upbeat ahead of their clash against Vihiga united fc.

Kisumu All Stars are determined to return to the Kenyan Premier League when they host Vihiga United FC this afternoon at the Moi Stadium for the return leg playoffs match.

The Stars head coach Andrew Aroka says the clash will be a defining moment for his team after beating Vihiga United FC 2-1 over the weekend at the Mumias Sports Complex, adding that they need a win or a draw to be able to retain their top-tier status.

Speaking at the team’s camp when a delegation from the office of Kisumu County Women Representative Rosa Buyu’s paid the team a courtesy call, Aroka said his charges are ready and set for the battle.

All Stars enjoy a one-goal cushion having won 2-1 in the first leg and a draw of any kind will be enough to safeguard their status in the top-division.

The team’s captain Bobi Kwaka says the preparation they have made is enough to give them a win.

Evans Osula, a youth programme officer in the office of the Kisumu Women Rep said the visit was aimed at lifting the mood of the boys ahead of the match. The team received 70000 from the Mp.

On his part, Vihiga united tactician Sammy Okoth has urged his bohs to be clinical and turn tables against Kisumu all stars.

“All we need to do is win it the hard way after failing to bury the game at home. Our fans are hungry for a berth at KPL table” he said.
